The Show Goes On…

For over a year now I’ve been releasing about an episode a month of my Classic Mac Games series. I’ve tried my hand at doing weekly videos, and while 1 video a week is ideal, I simply don’t have the time for it. 1 episode a month helps keep a good balance between my personal life and creating videos.

In recent months the Classic Mac Games series seems to be getting more viewers, and I’ve been getting a lot of feedback from a lot of cool people. For some reason though, people think I’ve stopped making these videos for good. Let me assure you that I haven’t, and the show will go on, soon. To be totally honest I’m taking a break from it, as I’ve decided to go back to school and further my education. Starting school again has been a huge change in my life, and I just need to adjust to it before I come back and continue these videos.

My whole goal starting these videos was to review 100 classic Macintosh games. To show how serious I am about this I’m going to bump that number up to 106 videos. I’ve decided to split the remaining 80 videos into seasons of 20 episodes each. After I finish each season of 20, I’m going to take a break from it.

I didn’t think that I’d have to write a post like this, but I’m glad I did. It makes me extremely happy to know that there are people out there actually watching my videos, and the feedback I’ve received this far has been great!

Thanks everyone, and I’ll see you soon!

Update: 4/28/2012 – Decided not to go with “seasons” for the Classic Mac Games series. The old way of numbering them works fine, though I’m glad I tried something new! 😀

  1. Hi Jarrod,

Thanks for the update. I just recently stumbled upon your Classic Mac reviews, and have found them to be a great contribution to the era. You obviously put a lot of work into them and have elevated the status of this great software and hardware. I have not seen such enthusiasm for the subject matter and it has renewed my interest and also turned me on to new games that I was not aware of. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!
